I SAW THE RAPTURE

In 2016, during our church’s yearly 40 day fast under my husband’s leadership, I set aside time to seek the Lord. One night, as the audio Bible played the book of Revelation, I drifted into sleep. Somewhere in that sacred space between hearing and resting, heaven opened.

Suddenly, I was caught up in the air. My spirit soared higher and higher until I was surrounded by light. And there before me stood the Lord — clothed in white, radiant and shining with a brilliance that no earthly eyes could fully capture. His presence was overwhelming, glorious, majestic beyond description.

As my gaze widened, I saw them — a multitude of people, all clothed in pure white garments. The crowd was vast, beyond number, stretching out as far as my eyes could see. They were gathered together on a great cloud, their voices united as one, crying out with thunderous joy:

“Hosanna! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!”

The sound was unlike anything I had ever heard — powerful yet tender, loud yet filled with peace. What struck me most was this: no matter how far away anyone seemed to stand, every single person could see Him clearly. Distance did not dim His glory. His face was visible to all, His majesty undeniable.

And then it dawned on me — I was witnessing the rapture. The Church, the Bride of Christ, was departing this world, rising to meet her Bridegroom in the heavens. It was not chaos. It was not fear. It was glory. It was triumph. It was the fulfillment of every promise.

Key Scripture

For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.” — 1 Thessalonians 4:16–17

A Word for You:

Beloved, the rapture is not a story of dread — it is the blessed hope. Jesus is coming for His Bride. The day will come when His glory lights up the skies, when every eye shall see Him, and when the redeemed will rise in robes of white.

Let this vision fill you with courage in these end times. The darkness may grow darker, but the light of His return is brighter still. Stay ready. Keep your garments pure. Let your heart be steady in faith.

For the King is coming. And when He comes, no distance, no darkness, and no power of the enemy will keep you from beholding His glory. We will see Him. We will be with Him. Forever.
