THE CELEBRATION OF ISRA

The Invitation

Suddenly, my spirit was caught up into the realms of Heaven. One moment, I was on earth, and the next, I stood before what seemed like a heavenly entrance. Before me, I saw a thick, black cloud — vast and deep, layered like woven mystery. My heart hesitated, but the angel with me spoke softly: “Yes, you’re meant to enter.” The moment I stepped forward, I was pulled inside the cloud. It was silent. Heavy. Sacred. I began praying in the Spirit, and as I prayed, light broke through the darkness. Suddenly, everything changed.

A Burst of Sound and Light

I emerged into a place alive with joy and celebration. Everywhere I looked, young, radiant people moved gracefully, carrying the light of eternity. Then I heard it — singing, laughter, and worship blended into a sound so powerful it felt as though creation itself was rejoicing. I turned to a young woman nearby and asked, “What is this celebration?” Smiling, she replied: “It’s a birthday celebration… for Isra.” I gasped. “Isra? As in Jacob — Israel from the Bible?” With radiant joy, she nodded: “Yes! Heaven remembers covenant days.”

Known in Heaven

As I looked down, I noticed I was wearing a prayer shawl. The young woman glanced at me and said softly: “I love your scarf. You are known here for prayer.” Her words pierced my heart. Known in Heaven… by prayer. I was overwhelmed, realizing that our devotion on earth echoes in eternity. I asked her what she was known for, and she smiled: “Worship. Worship is my thing.”

The Nations Gathered

Everywhere I looked, I saw people from every nation and culture, clothed in garments representing their heritage, yet perfectly united in joy and worship. I recognized faces: - A young man in beautiful Sri Lankan attire - A group clothed in rich South Asian colors - Many others from places I could not name This was Revelation 7:9 come alive: “A great multitude… from every nation, tribe, people, and language, standing before the throne.”
